Social Blade and YouTube channel pages archived by the Internet Archive and Common Crawl for subscribers; UN World Population Prospects 2024 via Our World in Data for population (estimates to 2023, medium projection after), with official national estimates for 18 countries including the United States, China, Japan, Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Populations are drawn between annual figures, and YouTube has shown subscriber counts rounded to three significant figures since September 2019, so the counters are interpolated between monthly observations. No archived count exists for December 2010 or January 2011, and the counter runs straight across those two months.
